Confederate Motorcycles: Renevatio

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Renevatio’s heart beats 90 degree water cooler GM based engine architecture. The machine is an entirely fresh modern direction consistent with past brand experience and the structure of our enterprise as extrapolated from our vision and value system.

Conceived by the leader of conceptual design team, Mr. Ed Jacobs, the motorcycle is at once primitive, bohemian, and yet highly technical. She is skeletal, i.e. she showcases human crafts work. The machine is minimal; using the fewest pieces, moving parts and systems to accomplish her dynamic mission. She is uncompromised, light weight, possesses enormous torque, is capable of extreme performance, yet has maximum real world streetable active safety. She is graceful in motion, yet potentially brutal. She exudes inner beauty through absolute follow through of truth of concept. She has great proportions, holistic brand gestalt, is original, impactful, alluring and elegant. The Driving concept was the creation of a conceptually flexible foundation to allow a place for growth and further iteration;  a utilitarian modular flexible foundation.

This Confederate team interpretation of American industrial and mechanical design rebirth is first and foremost supremely confident and, therefore, demure, sophisticated, eclectic and open.

  1. Yamaha Deus Ex Machina Motorcycle Concept

Jake Loniak, a student of Art Center Pasadena has crammed the combination of motorcycle and tech-skeleton into this Yamaha branded Deus Ex Machina. The vehicle will be powered by ultra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries. Jake believes that this vehicle can achieve a top speed of 75 mph. The recharge time of this vehicle is 15 minutes and cycle time is of 1 hour

2. Futuristic Dodge Tomahawk Motorcycle Concept

The Tomahawk is a Viper V-10 based motorcycle, a 500 horsepower engine standing on four wheels.

    3. Renovatio Concept by Confederate Motor Company

This Renovation concept by Confederate Motor Company uses minimal machine, using the fewest pieces, moving parts and systems to accomplish its dynamic mission. Renovatio is un-compromised, light weight, possesses enormous torque, and is capable of extreme performance and safe. It is graceful in motion, yet potentially brutal. Renovatio has great proportions, holistic brand gestalt, is original, impactful, alluring and elegant.

      4. T-Rex 3 Wheeler Concept for 2008 by Johnathan Cote

The first prototype released in 1994, the T-REX is a pioneer in the rapidly expanding world of modern 3-wheeled transport. This revised model offers refreshing new lines and added new assets. Overall, the beauty of this design imparts elegance and refinement worthy of the best sports vehicle.

        5. MonoTracer Sexy Cabin Motorycle with Low Emissions

Motorcycle design with cabin is not something new, but MonoTracer has jaw-dropping looks. From the side, this motorcycle looks like inspired by the shape of egg and the result is a very sexy motorcycle. Honda’s Sinister EVO6 Concept Bike

          Saturday, May 24th, 2008

EV06, the concept bike from Honda made a splash at the 40th Tokyo Auto Show in Japan. Mootably one of the most exciting looking concept bikes from Honda, there are rumors flying around that it is derived from the Honda’s Goldwing concept. With its simple, sleek and modern looks, it appears like a fun bike to ride on.

Powered by a monstrous and torque-rich six-cylinder, this beast has a massive 1800cc-plus engine that takes your breath away. And certainly expect more than the Gold Wing’s 118 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. With the snarling headlight and very well integrated radiator complimenting its looks, EV06 is certainly a work of art.

With one of the sexiest pair of exhaust pipes available in market and ever to grace a Honda, it also has a mono-shock rear suspension. It has a single sided swing arm with a naked tire in the back. Apart from these features, it is also equipped with individual exhaust headers, and has reversed tube forks up front. This souped version of the Goldwing’s B6 engine (as they say) will certainly go for a homerun, if brought into production.
